Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
Cavalcade ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at cavalcade.com (the "Service"). This page describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you provide. When you submit a form on our site, we collect the fields you enter — typically name, email address, phone number, company or property details, and any notes you include.
- Automatically collected information. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This includes pages visited, approximate location (derived from IP, not stored), device and browser type, and referral source. With your consent, Google Analytics may set cookies to identify returning visitors across sessions.
How we use this information
- To respond to inquiries and follow up on form submissions.
- To deliver the services you request (e.g. the utility cost audit).
- To improve our website and understand which content is useful.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Third parties we share data with
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — for site analytics. See Google's privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosting provider for the application that receives form submissions. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- GitHub Pages — hosting provider for this marketing site. See GitHub's privacy statement.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies for two purposes:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function. These are always on.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to measure site usage. You can accept or reject these using the cookie banner shown on first visit, or update your choice anytime via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
Your rights (California residents)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you.
- Request deletion of that information.
- Opt out of any sale of your information (we don't sell, but you can confirm this).
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@cavalcade.com.
Data retention
Form submission data is retained for as long as needed to provide the requested service, then for a reasonable period to maintain business records (typically 7 years for tax purposes). Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults (up to 14 months).
Children
The Service is intended for commercial and industrial property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
